Salmisaaren uudistus jatkuu kevään ja kesän 2026 aikana
Salmisaaren 2. kerroksessa (vanha boulderointialue) tehdään remonttia kevään ja kesän 2026 aikana. Tilaa tullaan pienentämään, mutta samalla rakennetaan uutta kiipeilyseinää ja kehitetään aluetta entistä toimivammaksi kokonaisuudeksi.

Päivitys 5.5.2026 – Remontin vaikutus yläkerran kiipeilyalueisiin
Projekti etenee hyvää vauhtia! 2. kerroksen köysialue on hetkellisesti kokonaan pois käytöstä remontin takia. Terassi ja partsi ovat käytössä normaalisti.

Muutostyöt vaikuttavat vaihtelevasti 2. kerroksen kiipeilyalueiden käytettävyyteen, mutta eivät vaikuta 1. kerroksen uuteen tilaan, K1-kerroksen korkeaan tilaan tai parvekesektoreihin.
Rakennustöitä tehdään pääasiassa päiväsaikaan ja työstä voi aiheutua ajoittain melua.
Muutosten myötä reitinteko keskittyy aktiivisessa käytössä oleville seinille.

SALMISAARI IS BEING UPGRADED during the spring and summer 2026
Renovation work is taking place on the 2nd floor (old bouldering area) of Salmisaari during the spring and summer 2026. The space will be reduced, while a new climbing wall will be built and the area will be developed into a more functional overall space.

Update May 5, 2026 – Impact of the renovation on the upper-level climbing areas
The project is progressing well. The rope area on the 2nd floor is temporarily closed due to the renovation. The terrace and balcony are open as usual.

The changes will affect the availability of climbing areas on the 2nd floor to varying degrees, but will not impact the new area at the 1st floor, the high space on the K1 level, or the balcony sectors.
Construction work will mainly take place during daytime and there may be occasional noise.
As a result of these changes, route setting will focus on the most actively used walls.
